The Guadalupe Breakfast Club will carpool to Chillicothe, Mo, Wednesday, July 17th, to tour the historical St. Columban Catholic Parish, founded in 1857 by Father John Hogan, later to become the first Bishop of St. Joseph. The interior of the church went through many stages of renovation and repair over the decades of the 20th century. In 2017, a grand restoration of the church took place which restored the majority of the interior to how it appeared after murals were added in 1913. Following a tour of the church, we will have lunch in Chillicothe.

Mass at OLOG will be at 8:00 a.m., followed by a potluck breakfast in Summers Hall. We will plan to leave the parking lot at 9:30 a.m. Please call the parish to make your RSVP before Monday, July 15th to help facilitate our planning.
